One of the sound bites that I heard today by a peacenic spokes person was that he was against a war with Iraq because lives could be lost. Duh. Some one should clue him in; we are all going to die. There is nothing more noble in life than to offer your life for a just cause. Saddam and his minions are not a government and do not deserve the usual diplomacy afforded to a governing body. They are a lieing, dictatorial, greedy, gluttonous, self serving, band of murderous thugs. Any one who is brave enough to oppose them deserves our support. Anyone who is afraid to speak or stand against them is enabling their evilness. I believe that is much stronger language than jla used...I better duck.

Conflict is one thing. I have no problem with namecalling. But if, say, I were to engage in all our discussions by repeatedly, even relentlessly, calling you some of the most offensive names for persons of Jewish ancestry, and in fact call everybody on the thread by those names merely by way of person insult and without any regard for their truth, I would expect to be suspended from civilied discourse for a time, and good riddance. What on earth has happened to your belief in civilized behavior? Are your principles so wavering that they rely on who you're posting to or about? That's not like my concept of you at all.
