Wily, thanks for posting what are, again, stimulating thoughts and speculations about the immediate future.
I am interested in understanding how you were able to sell your shares and hold on to your rights, when there is no published date of record that I can find.
If I do not have a date of record, then I cannot have made a decision to cash in on any opportunities that arise as a result of this rights offer.
The stock price, as you suggest, will hang around the $2 level, to ensure that the rights will remain available for the pros to pick up at pennies.
I firmly believe that the market pros will dictate the action on this stock for some time to come. If that is correct, there will not be any profits available, to be taken by small investors, except where we cannibalize off each other.
Or, as Wolf postulated, by being very brave (or very foolish) and day trading the rights. Fox.
