GNSC Was up 2.14% today on volume of 168,800 (about 2.8x its daily average) in spite of the negative influence of the General Market,<g>

Since December GNSC has announced license deals and other agreements with JNJ, PHA, MLNM and more recently with Bayer.

Insiders hold more than 35% of the shares and the institutions that hold more than 45% of the float reportedly have done significant buying lately. (Insiders also did some buying on the open market last Summer.)The float is less than 15 M.

For the 9 Months ended Sept.30, revenues increased about 75% to $5.5M and the net loss decreased to $27.7 M compared to previous period.(The loss was still substantial, but included a charge of $6M for "impairment of fixed assets".<g>

The stock has been the best performer this month among all the entries in the different portfolios of the stock picking contest for 2003.(The stock has appreciated 71% from its Dec.31 closing to its intraday H today.)

Since last June the stock has been selling below its reported cash/share around $1.60.<g> (It was included in the "Battered List"previously mentioned on this thread.<g>)

The stock opened with a small up-gap today in spite of the "market".<g>

Since the Up-trend started in November, it has managed to hold its general trend, making Higher L after each correction and higher Hs on the recoveries.(except early this month.<g>)

From a longer term perspective the stock still has plenty of room to run.<g>

Hi, Bernard,

I wonder how much insiders owned of CPTS when it IPOd? It's less now, because they've sold relentlessly, and that is one of the things that kept me from ever buying it. I believe insurance reimbursement is a hurdle, and the stock is pricing that in. It should really move when news of the code comes over the wires. BTW, Essure is approved in the US (Nov. 4, 2002). It is in Europe that it still awaits approval.

Anyhow, I see in your subject post that you look for companies starting trends. Have you seen anything starting a downtrend in the last few days (as opposed to CPTS that has been downtrending for months)? Inquiring short sellers want to know. <g>

Cheers, Tuck
