Hello DJ, <<maxpain on sept NEM at 27.5$>> I have been a follower of NEM for a number of years, and had intuitively figured on a 'max-pain' point each time I short naked puts and covered calls, although your pointer to the site is the first time I saw the concept done so simply, explicitly and clearly. Thanks much.

I would be happy with a NEM At 27.5 on Sept expiration date, and should that be the case, I would be a seller of a new tranche of covered calls at USD 30 strike.

I actually expect to be able to close out either the Call and/or the Put position before that date, either because the NEM price moved substantially or because volatility premium decreased.

I worship volatility. So beautiful, symmetrical, and potentially profitable, because the masses are so confused.

Speaking of the masses, I wonder what Maurice traded today :0?
