It's a bit more than a rumor but probably Pentagon propaganda in any case.

Hell of a way to liberate anyone. On the other hand if you just want to wipe out an entire people and steal their oil... way to go.

UK troops and occupying forces have more to fear from DU weapons after the war than Saddam's followers during the battle though.
