the router $10.....but, in those 5 years, it has facilitated that little company in making $10M a year. So, the device itself has little ability to store value, but it has the ability to generate wealth far beyond the value of the device itself. the honda $1500....but, it has allowed me to drive to work for 10 years and bring in income of anywhere from $200k to $2M over those 10 years. the gold is worth, at best, double what it was purchased for. And silver and silver alloys will meet most of the needs of the electronics industry.
