However, the blame for the beating of Reginald Denny does not, I believe, belong on LAPD. It was a horrible, brutal act of rioting blacks, and I really can't see how you can blame LAPD for it.

If you don't want to get into disputes with me, why do you not read what I post? On several occasions, you've either intentionally misinterpreted what I've posted or glossed over pertinent parts of the post. With Denny, I said the LAPD was at fault in part. That's a very common understanding of the situation for anyone who lived through that time in LA.

But of course, you know better.......2000k miles away; that when I said "in part" it meant that I was faulting the LAPD completely. Damn, you're obnoxious. And to add insult to injury, you complain about my posts 24/7......well, sorry, big guy, I hate to inform you but its I that has reason to be complaining 24/7. When you are not misinterpretating what I say, you are accusing me of being unpatriotic or disloyal to my race or unfair to the president. Do you really expect me to sit blithely by and let you defame who I am and what I have to say? If so, I suggest you get over it.

David, <I really can't see how you can blame LAPD for it.>

The blame of the crime itself lies solely with the perpetrators. The blame of not stopping the crime when given the chance lies with the LAPD.

Come to think of it, the fact that the LAPD did nothing is probably encouraging more perps to go and beat up other motorists under the guise of "venting steam." Similar problems within the LAPD helped to turn that city into the murder capital of 2002.

How does the quote go? Something like "Evil spreads best when good people do nothing"?
