Norton just saved my PC from the the W32.Sobig.A@mm worm.
Intelligent Updater was 5 days ahead of Live Update on this one.

It's kinda scary to receive a virus that's less than 2 weeks old. I'm sure glad NAV did it's job. I recently updated to SW 2003. EastCoast Outlet has it for $12.99 with free postage. Another company on Pricewatch has SW 2003 Pro for the same price but I've been happy with EastCoast's service and have no use for the extras that come with SW Pro.

Scanner model # is Umax Astra 3400.

Thanks for the lead regarding the other user who had a similar problem. I've sent him an email, will let you know if I get a response.
