Afghanistan was bombed because the Taliban government openly harbored the Al Qaida leadership. Personally I think OBL is dead.

Re. the flow of oil, I was referring to the likelihood of future wars involving WMD's in the Persian gulf. I think a nuke could do some real damage to oil facilities.

If Iraq threatens its neighbors, they can ask for our help. They haven't.

Kuwait and Qatar are assisting us. SA will if it has the cover of a UN war authorization.
