What do you think about the theory I expressed the other day: namely, that if the U.S. equity markets had continued their climb throughout 2000, 2001, and 2002 to presently stand at even more absurd multiples than they did when the bear market began...a good portion of those now demonstrating against action in Iraq wouldn't care enough to give the situation a second thought; and, in some cases, might actually be draped in American flags, crying out (literally and figuratively) for swift, savage military action against Iraq?
