Bush thinks he is "god's gift to humanity", but humanity sees him in a less flattering light. Bush wants a war, and he is doing his best to create a pretext for his war. History will judge him, but I suggest you lower your expectations for how history will see Bush. He is likely to be viewed as a fool that harmed liberty and humanity and the strategic interests of the United States -- a fool that did manage to involve the United States in a war that sowed the seeds of terrorism for future generations, and a fool who gave the rest of the world a reason to believe that their hatred and disrespect for the United States is justified.

I doubt that any of the people you quoted (with the possible exception of Reagan) would give any support whatsoever to a unilateral invasion of Iraq by the US if they were alive today -- I suspect that they would be appalled and ashamed of actions that Bush is proposing. No threat has been established. No link to terrorists has been established. No evidence of an ongoing nuclear program has been established. And we are part of a multilateral process that we set in motion only a few months ago. Wrap yourself in the flag if you like Bill and pretend that you are more American than I am, but do not justify your views by quoting people who are not hear to tell us what they think of this "unilateral regime change policy". Your approach is just like our friend Craig.
