Hannity & Colmes just had this Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream guy on. Hannity pretty well worked him over. He was asked to correlate what is happening now with what happened with Hitler. This, to me, is a totally valid comparison, in that the world community's failure to act cost many, many lives that could have been saved. His response was, "Well, it isn't the same". He was also questionned about what kind of evidence exactly WOULD it take to get him to support a war effort. He took the same position as Al on this thread essentially has -- there are NO circumstances short of an attack against us on OUR SOIL by Iraq. We didn't get the follow up question about Clinton & Yugoslavia which needs to be asked every time a liberal takes this position. I have become full of anger toward liberals over these issues. I heard Santorum talking today about the fact that Senators are paid to have these disagreements in an "agreeable" way. I simply couldn't do it. I just want to grab these people by the lapels and shake them, and shout, "What the hell is the matter with you? Have you totally lost it?".

Dave Re..She isn't anti-American for questionning the policy -- she is anti-American for siding with the Iraqis. What an idiot. I don't thinks she sides with the Iraqis as much as she refuses to question the Iraqi side as much as she refuses to believe GW.. Secondly, she is saying because GW hasn't personally shown her the evidence, there obviously isn't any. That is where I have a beef. She is just a woman behind a camera playing whores etc, who doesn't know squat, trying to convince people she deserves security clearance. She criticizes Gw for his supposed rush to war, yet she herself refuses to wait for the evidence. When are we supposed to get the evidence.......after Iraq has fallen? Why should we believe GW? Do you honestly think the 50% who did not vote for him think he has operated in good faith? You voted for him so, of course, you believe he walks on water. Its his job to convince those of us who do not walk in lockstep behind him.........and he hasn't done that. American presidents don't start wars......they finish them. And don't give me this bs that I don't like him and so I am not convinceable. His case for going after Iraq sucks.......and most of the world knows it. And btw, I think its hilarious that you all think Sarandon is dumb. Truth is she can out think GW any ole day. I have never brought it up but you do remember when they flew into the WTC bldg and they told GW when he was in that school classroom what had happened..........I have never in my life seen a human whose eyes looked so blank. There wasn't fear, anger, excitement......anything; there was nothing. It suddenly dawned on me that he didn't have a clue what to do......that's why he continued to sit there for a while longer. Oh, later, they spun it that he didn't want to upset the kids but I know that wasn't it........the kids would not have had a clue had he gotten up right away. It scares me the person who sits in the White House. So don't you be putting down Sarandon.....that's like calling the kettle black. ted
