The war of Iraq has been sold to the American public as one that is necessary because Saddam is linked with al Qaeda and therefore, capable of bringing terrorism to the US.

That issue has been raised but it has not been the main argument. The main one seems to be talking about how bad Saddam is, the fact that he has WMD and is trying to get more, and more powerful ones, and the idea that we should stop him before he becomes a significant threat.

Tim, when the administration could not get people to move on the concept of an Iraqi war based on WMD, they began to push the al Qaeda connection. I have followed this shit real closely......I know the chronology and the tactics. The administration got the world's attention only when they talked about al Qaeda.

Now I suggest they come through with some hard evidence or prove to be a cassandra and/or the boy who cried wolf. Based on the news last nite, per usual, its more administration speculation and no hard evidence is in sight but we will see.
