I think dems support that. Kerry's repeal of
estate tax cuts does not include small family farms or businesses, just the top of the top wealthiest.

If so it will be even less capable of replaceing a payroll tax cut. Not that I'm against a payroll tax cut but getting rid of only part of the estate tax cut will not be enough to make up the difference in revenue.

It's not healthy economics.

Actually its very good economics.

We dont want to go back to those days of the very rich literally owning our country.

Can't go back threre because we never where there.

This
land is OUR land, not just theirs.

Yes but thier wealth is their wealth not yours or ours.

ry Clinton recently stated family farms ought to stay in the family after deaths.

There have long been provisions for some family farms.

This really isn't the question. The question is, "If I'm so lucky or talented that over my lifetime I manage to accumulate a hundred million dollars, why should it be anyone's choice but MINE as to what happens to that money when I die?". This is a serious philosophical question that liberals simply have no answer for -- other than we want to give it to other people.

Our legal system places the decedent's wishes at top priority in almost every respect. But not where the government is concerned. They confiscate the money you have left when you die. It is fundamentally wrong.

If they wanted 10%, I'd have no complaint. But 55%? This is just liberalism gone wild.

American Spirit,

The land I worked for and bought and paid taxes on while I was alive is now your land when I die?

Steve

American Spirit,

Many years ago a minority of human beings were slaves in this country. They were used by a group of people to fulfill their goals of power. The slave had no rights, no voice. Slaves had a value which could be calculated in financial considerations. There were labeled as a lower class of human beings. I believe it took a great Republican to show the courage to change this inhumane culture.

Now today, the liberal democrats consider the successful minority class in the country as their source of power. This class of people have no rights, no voice as they are the minority. Their votes are worthless. Now you are calculating their financial worth in the government's tax system. You don't even treat them as fellow human beings. Only numbers, slaves to be used, and then thrown away.

The liberal democrats that are using the successful minority for their quest for power are no better than the slave owners of yesteryear. The successful minority in this country have been labeled as a lower class of human beings with no rights and are the current race of slaves.

Why liberals are against Martin Luther King, Jr's vision of his dream where everyone is equal, and judged not by the color of their skin, but by their character, is a clear indication of their unacceptable goals.

And believe me, the liberal politicians today have no idea what character is.

Steve
