RE:"They behave as if they will live forever. The great equalizer is Death! They will experience the same faith as all of us. That is really a very comforting thought."

My thoughts exactly. It sure looks like a race to see just how scummy they will look before they die.

RE:"What gives with the chummy relationship between Dave Budde and Tom Dunlap? Could they be half-brothers?...humble carl"

Birds of a feather flock together. Just look at the Duke defending a fellow Lawyer, Tom Dunlap. These guys have all the excuses. He "deserved" this and he "deserved" that obscene compensation.

<What gives with the chummy relationship between Dave Budde and Tom Dunlap>

carl, may I humbly say, you do not help your cause with comments like this one. Dave simply, and correctly, explained how Mr. Tom Dunlap Esq. options worked. Why attack that messenger? If you do not think Dunlap has 'earned' all his salary and now exercising kicker argue based on that dollar figure over 30 years versus his contribution to INTC and its enhancement (or lack thereof) of shareholder value. Appears Duke has thrown out the first gauntlet in laying out quite a few impressive achievements. You need to argue those were fruitless as Mgmnt. was throwing away so much in buying sprees that netted little...or some other line of reasoning. all IMHO as well.

As to someone like Dunlap only making 250k plus 250 bonus as one poster suggests as an estimate ...LOL! The extra one time bonuses on wrapping up huge cases or getting special interest laws thru would ratchet up that bonus average many fold, imo.
