that is the point. Intel is not alone at that.

Excuse me but this "over compensation" stuff been going on for a lot longer than that. It just took the last 3 years to expose it and get the shareholders (bagholders) attention.
Of course it's not just Intel. I distinctly remember arguing with Paul Engel about Michael Eisners 40 million compensation. Engel said he was "worth it".
