Dave...Chris Hitchens last night properly described the situation as "France and Germany" acting unilaterally. I think this is an apt description.

Agreed, Gw has it in the bag. The other night Chris Matthews was practically yelling in his shrill voice at his guest that Gw was acting alone. My bet is that he goes the way of the dodo bird Donahue, whose show was reputedly cancelled for Donaldson.
