Ted....Come on.......hell, has a better chance of freezing over. War has started.....there are reports that American troops have landed in N. Iraq. All out warfare is just a matter of time.

I know, and Gw probably knows. But he just delivered a big body blow to all of those crazed peaceniks who claim GW just cares about oil, and is in a mad rush to war. GW got SA and Egypt to beg Saddam to give it up, thereby putting the onus on Saddam, and forcing you to eat crow. And you called him dumb.

You're the one that needs to get your knife and fork ready.......GW is not behind the Saudi proposal...that's something the Saudis have been working on for a couple of months. The Saudis had to make such a proposal in order to keep their people happy.

By now, you must understand how it works.......the Arab/Muslim world like most worlds are often unhappy with each other and privately they admit that Saddam is a major jerkoff but its their jerkoff and they don't want the US to be messing with him........so they close ranks. So to the US, they say "leave our Saddam alone", and to themselves "what an asshole Saddam is".

The Saudis have enough unrest without fueling more; thus the Saddam exile proposal. And GW said he would go along with it. In short, this was no brainstorm of the Bush administration.
