They could hit Hawaii, maybe even a tiny bit of the West coast. They are working on longer range missiles and in a decade or so should be able to hit anywhere in US.

I believe there have been reports that there is at least a possibility that parts of Alaska may be within their range, or nearly so. They have some medium-range missiles with a range of something like 1500km, which puts Alaska just within range.

I also think their planning to deploy some SDI-type techology in Alaska -- I'm not sure if it was part of the recent announcement or something new...

You watch too many james Bond films. North Korea has no ICBM's. Couldn't hit Hawaii or anywhere close. Japan is a possbility but why would they? South Korea if their only real target. And we have 30,000 men there. SDI is useless against NK.
