no matter how much those longing for a "good" war, could wish it so.

Different country, different people, different times, and the guy is hemmed in by allied bombing. Germany of the 30's, this ain't.

The appeasement that created the mass disaster of WWII was, at least, an attempt (however foolish) to create peace where none existed.

The Daschle/Clinton left is far worse: They are working HARD to advance the cause of the enemy. Their appeasement is just a smokescreen so we won't hang them until AFTER they have done their damage...
