<<Look at all the chemical "testing" that Iraq is doing on the Kurds. Is this humane? >>

Where do you folks get your info? CNN most likely.

Why don't you do a little internet research on our (USA) "humane" chemical testing(whoops, I guess depleted radioactive materials aren't really classified as chemicals).

Here's a little snippet from just one article.
"The fighting that took place on these battlefields seven years ago (see map, page 14) was so intense and released so many pulverized DU particles that the entire area was almost certainly drenched in radioactive and toxic grit." ...referring to the last gulf war.

This will get you pointed in the right direction.

After a good read how about we discuss just who is/isn't humane. Looks to me like there's enough mud to sling in all directions.

When I see what R Duray posts, I imagine what any given homeless crazed lunatic I see on the streets of San Francisco would write if this psychotic managed to slip into a public library and get in front of a PC.

I suggest that when responding to Ray should be given the same consideration that you would give responding to the ranting of a homeless psychotic. Here you cant throw him some change for a coffee and you sure as hell are wasting your time trying to talk some sense into him.

<<The French, Germans and Russians aren't in because they have the most to loose economically if Bagdad falls.>>

I think you hit the nail on the head perfectly.

Similarly, the US and the Brits are in because they have the most to gain economically if Bagdad falls.

It's all about money and power -that's what makes the world turn.

P.S. Do you think the new oil contracts for Iraq will be awarded competitively ? Anybody know who Halliburton usually works with ?
