RE:And Californians will fight to keep oil derricks off our coasts.

In that case, quit whining about high oil prices. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

AS,

re:California is great. What are you talking about? Not perfect but great. It's been 80 degrees here all week while the rest of you freeze your butts off. gg Another thing I like about California is the women. Ohmygod. Maybe not so brainy but great looking. And if I want, I can go skiing, to Mexico, Big Sur, San Fran, the desert within 2-6 hours drive. That said, it would nice to live in Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Maine or the Rockies.

Lobster diving off Laguna Beach or running out to San Clemente Island or the Pinnacles for Scallops - mummmm good.

PS: The fishing is killer around those derricks, actually an oil transport point between Long Beach and Huntington. Lost an anchor there one night when the shift boat came out.

I must have caught 100 Mackerel that night, the lights really bring'em in. Barracuda everywhere - but to small to keep.
