I don't believe executives can control economies
Would you tell your buddies this? They don't seem to get it.

Show me the swollen state budget that caused this?
Actually, the link showing that state spending and employment increased in 2000, 2001, and 2002 has been produced several times. And revenues peaked in early 2000.

But the fact is that Davis ain't got the money to afford his budget. He can increase taxes, get more from the feds, or cut. Or all 3. And if you've cut and you still have a deficit, you haven't cut enough.

Most people plan for income swings ... I do. You probably do too.
Yup. And in this case a Democratic guv is going o have to cut deep. REAL deep. I wonder if he has the juevos.

If you adjust your spending level for when you paid off your car and just got a raise, do you really think things will balance when you get a pay cut and have to buy a new car?
Salt part away when you got. And don't waste it.

And instead of getting a new Lexus SUV, you get a cheap car. Or an cheap used car.

The inflexible become extinct.
