Hopefully they learned something from the Challenger investigation. They were stonewalling, (either intentionally or perhaps it was just instinctive institutional protectiveness, who knows) and the investigation was moving at an excruciating pace. Then a whistleblower (a misnomer, imo) from a sub-contractor, Morton-Theyekohl (sp?) came forward and mentioned something about o-rings. As we all remember, the investigation took an aggressive turn after that...
