I stand by my statements. I definitely remember servicemen leaving the military for better paying jobs during the Clinton era. It was a huge problem. Now in the Bush recessions that's changed. Plus 9-11 was a great recruiting "tool". I wanted to put on a uniform myself. But where's the enemy? Ignore those two links by Harris......they were bs developed by the GOP. Defense is the GOP's raison d'etre; of course, they have to trash the Dems on that issue. The truth is this country stills spends a huge amount of money on defense....and that ain't about to change under any administration. Besides, they have to come up with something to put Clinton down..............Bush seems to be failing in everything he did well including having sex. LOL ted
