Not you specifically, but we're always hearing about Carter in that context. Somehow people forget about the 1979 version of the 1973 oil embargo. Like that had no effect. Who can forget odd/even gas days? I was almost AWOL because of that. I had to draft trucks to get back home. Great Society should have been piloted and it would have been shown that some solutions didn't work. Worst thing you can do is build vertical tenements. Absolutely nothing wrong with Project Head Start, though. Can't throw the baby out with the bathwater, can we?
