Uh, there is a difference between "lying" and "lying under oath". The second is also called "perjury" and is a criminal offense. Were you unaware of that when you asked the question? Or was that intended as a trap for the unwary?

Bush lies all the time to the AMerican people Typical liberal tripe. The purported examples of Bush "lies" turn out to be liberals' opinions that Bush has lied. His honesty and integrity are what makes him a fine president. It may be he just looks so damned honest next to the trash we've had for the previous 8 years.

I have posted lists of Bush "liberties with the facts" in just his first year in office from the Washington Post. Despite the long holiday the press has given Bush, he really is a BS artist -- Facts are not as important to Bush as popular-sounding slogans and covering up what he really has in mind. An example "Healthy Forests". read the fine print and it's an attempt at extreme deregulation of the timber industry. Already they are moving to cut down old-growth Sequoias in California thanks to Bush's policy. Bush claims it's to limit forest fires, but that's just camouflage. This is typical of a Bush lie. It's usually what he doesn't tell you that's the real lie. Howevber, sometimes he outright lies. for instance when he told reporters he hardly knew Kenny Lay. My guess as to why Lay is not in jail is that he's blackmailing the White House. Enron will probably never be brought to justice. That's another form of lie. Subversion of justice or democracy to save your ass. Another Bush favorite.

I don't care how many men say " Of course I had sex with her." The issue here is not the number of men who have lied, it is that THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERCIA deliberately lied while under oath. He committed perjury and should have been kicked out of office. The man is without a spine, or moral character and sold our country down the drain under the protection of Janet Reno, and the covering up by his lying wife Hillary!

Dear Pat: Of course you are overlooking the "perjury" aspects of the ONE PERSON expected to lead our Nation on the path of truth and rightousness. For Clinton's sake I hope that you are the one selected to write the historical biography of the Clinton era. Cause, if it gets written by an OBJECTIVE UNBIASED historian it will go down as the MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENCY since the days of Pres. Grant. It wasnt just Clinton alone who was so corrupt but those he surrounded himself with. I wont repeat all the details that are now public, I am sure you know them IF you are willing to accept them. But, just consider this: Neither Clinton nor his wife ever owned ANY home, Clinton made peanuts and his wife practicing in Arkansas as a junior partner very little more YET after 8 years of the Presidency they are MULTIMILLIONAIRES many times over. Hmmm, wonder where it all came from? jdn
