I guess that's how Rummy knows they have WMD.

The last bunch of Republicans sold them to him.
It would be comical, if it were not for the fact that WW3 is about a hop-step-and-a-jump away.

Blix: We have not yet discovered any WMD systems or materials.

Rummy: Aha! Proof that he is hiding them from you and tricking you. (The Rumsfield Fork Logical argument)

Blix: Possibly, but how do we know this?

Rummy: Cause we sold a whole bunch to him in 1990. Here are the receipts.

Blix: Well looking at these, you are absolutley correct. This proves beyond any doubt that Saddam still has WMD that he has not declared or destroyed.

Rummy: Good, at last. We can now invade.

I presume Colin Powell is going to show these receipts at the UN with the accompanying Bank Transfers.
Then no-one, not even the most hardened skeptic, could be in doubt that Saddam has WMD and is a threat to decent citizens outside of his country.

From 1985 to 1989, the United States government approved 70
shipments of anthrax and other disease-causing pathogens to
Iraqi scientists[.]

So what?

Nothing further has been done to find the anthrax killer in the U.S. I leads me to wonder. All of the reporting focuses on the letters to Congress. I think there should be more focus on the first attack. What kind of story was that tabloid working on? The reporter was close to Jeb Bush and the training terrorists and may have been about to publish something that the administration did not want known. That would also explain why the anthrax comes from govt. labs but nobody can seem to find another clue.
