<<Thank God the US Supreme Court ruled correctly in the matter.>>

Be thankful they ruled the way you wanted them to, but i hardly think they ruled correctly.

In fact i honestly can't understand their ruling. They said that re-counting the votes using different standards in different counties violated the equal protection clause.

But the votes were originally counted using different standards in different counties, and the mandatory recount was done using different standards in different counties.

Why weren't the original vote and first recount violations of the equal protection clause?

Standards and methods of counting vary from state to state and even from county to county in the states. Isn't every election then a violation of the equal protection clause?
