Well, he would if he is on the Loan Committee and the loan was of a size to require Board Approval. Many times however, the Board sets parameters and rests loan authority within specific limits with Bank officers.

That was a specific allegation, as I recall, that he had taken action to favor the granting of loans to people with whom he had a close financial relationship.......
