I was more amused by the inversion of the usual Hashemite restoration line:

That "wackiest scenario" used to be the conventional Israeli line, as I understand it, e.g. "There is a Palestinian state - Jordan". Maybe that line will rise again, who can say? Or maybe King Abdullah will be moved over to Iraq. I'm sure Perle has a plan there, one way or the other.
