I'm in LA area. I have been many times in THE FIRST 99c only. Now they have built many more all over. All stuff is of decent quality. For instance there is a good vine selection there (in some stores). And yes, it's 99c for everything. This does this magic. You are not afraid of getting "sticker shock" when you look at something. There are many more other 98c and 99c stores. They are small and carry crap.
