<< I will say that the GOP will win BIG TIME in 2004. >>

I hope so. But, if there is an attempt to repeal Roe vs Wade, it may mobilize enough women to defeat the Republicans in 2004.

Sure, it's only one issue, but once there is an attack against individual freedom, in this country, it could lead to other losses in individual rights, which is a bigger issue.

I disagree. I think Bush it is capitalizing on fear. For instance, scaring people that Saddam might attack us (as ridiculous as that probably is) right before the mid-term election to sway voters still stunned by 9-11. The democrats have waged no such fear campaign. Their fears on the economy seem as real as can be now, coming true as we speak.

And in end end it's always "the economy, stupid". So far Bush is right on track to repeat his father's one-term. I see four straight years of depressed economy and the wrong policies to try and fix them. These supply side tax cuts are practically useless. That said, not many candidates could beat Bush in 2004. But John Kerry will be the one. And improtant is his running mate. We'll see who, but rumor is McCain may join him without even switching parties. Then Bush is certainly toast. Otherwise Edwards probably.
