Bush-Cheney were in collusion with Enron and others ripping off California. Why would they help California now? They're trying to cover it up and hope we forget about it. This Enron trader who is indicted is a small fry. All the big boys at the top are walking. And Fastow is refusing to talk. Time for Lay anmd Skilling to do the perp walk and pay back every cent they stole, even if it's all in the Cayman Islands.

Lizzie; as much as I like you, that comment requesting some kind of bail out to distribute the pain across a wider tax base, isnt the answer. California needs a whole range of political reforms, bail outs by the feds using enron as the reason, will just allow the state to continue in its systematic largess. Whatever happened to Howard Jarvis? Did he move to Colorado or die already? Has the state gone completely bonkers?
