If he handled this iraq thing more diplomatically we would all be better off. You obviously don't remember the attempted diplomacy leading up to the Gulf War in which Aziz and Saddam lied repeatedly; the Gulf War itself in which Saddam lied repeatedly; the ceasefire in which Saddam made numerous commitments that were kept only so long as we had a presence in the area enforcing them; and recent actions in which Saddam has lied repeatedly. You can't negotiate with a liar. Period. Saddam will understand one thing and one thing only: The total, permanent loss of power. Which he will experience shortly due to the great leadership of G W Bush.
