Saddam is really not that bad of a guy, the world can find a way of living with him and containing his aggressive tendencies.

Michael, you're half right here; I think Saddam is without redeeming characteristic, but I also think containment is our best option at this point. He is not insane and will not risk upsetting his happy little reign by doing something suicidal like attacking with a WMD.

In a prior post you alluded to the fact that the U.S. was wrong in forcing him out of Kuwait.

This wasn't me, Michael. I had no trouble with us forcing him out of Kuwait.

Yes, there are risks.

I am most concerned with inspiring a whole new generation of terrorists by our preemptive invasion on a sovereign ME nation.
