The Clinton recession will be hard to beat. The Clinton tax theft of 1993, which CAUSED it, must be completely REVERSED. The Democrats continue to fight to sustain it, Therefore it has become (see 2002 election results) THEIR recession.

Step on the National Cockroach, Puff Daschle...

No more than 45% are committed to Bush in 2004.
This new poll echoes the exact same number they got during November election exit polls. The the GOP largely won that election, some people didn't believe me when I posted how they found only 45% would vote for Bush in 2004, despite these higher "approval ratings" which are general, post 9-11 related, and do not reflect a genuine committment to GW.

Now all the Dems need to do is nominate a strong candidate like John Kerry and fight the good fight. If the economy tanks even more, Bush may receive less than 45%. Still a close election but one Kerry can win. And I dont think Nader will run again. He (among other things) cost Gore the presidency. But Kerry is a stronger candidate than Gore. You'll see.

Personally, I am amazed at how well the US economy is doing after the US market bubble burst. If Gore were president the economy would be in far worse shape, but you can be assured that Republican majorities are going to do some good things for the economy.

Also, your claim regarding Bush's approval rating is bologna.

AND HIS RATINGS JUST DROPPED BELOW 50%~!!!

Wrong....Bush's job approval in the latest Gallup survey is back into the low sixties from the high fifties....

I expect after the Powell presentation to the UN they will climb even higher...
