I was looking for your interpretation of MCGrory's comments but didn't find them. I saw the bolded stuff. Perhaps it got away before you had time to type them.

I read her bit to say something like Powell convinced me there was a great deal more of a menace here than I had heretofore thought; I was unconvinced about the evidence tying Al Q to Saddam; I'm not ready to go to war; but if we go I'll at least believe there was a reason rather than no reason.

I read that as more than a backhanded compliment but the kind of support that disappears the next time she hears Bush speak about it. Perhaps. Because she's given her support to Powell; not to Bush. But we'll see.

So, again, what's your interpretation?
