<<Now lets say Clinton started bombing Kosovo and the UN wouldn't support it and the entire world lined up against the US >>

The UN didn't care much one way or the other. Heck they allowed the situation to spin out of control in the first place. Anyway, since there is no cheap oil over there that nations like france germany or russia want, they didn't really care either way about it.

So, it's OK to rid the world of a tyrant in the Balkans who was a threat to no one but the people inside the borders of the former Yugoslavia, but not to rid it of Saddam Hussein? Why? Because that was relatively easy and wouldn't disrupt the economy, but this might hurt sales in silly valley? Hmm.

BTW, Russia was none too happy about NATO action on their doorstep in the Balkans, particularly against their kissing-cousins in Serbia.
