Well sure................. but if they've been hobbling along with Win 98 and a new OS and new budget year hasn't moved them to upgrade, I doubt that we suddenly see a big growth rate just because Msft stops supporting it.

What fueled the growth a few years ago were the abundance of start ups flush with ca$shola spending like drunken sailors, a post y2k buying spree after a reluctance to spend pre y2k just because they were afraid programs wouldn't work so why not wait a few weeks?, and a push to sell ISP service with a cheap computer.

I think we'll have to depend on replacement due to mostly wear and tear and a little buying from people entering the market (kids moving out on their own) and I don't think the end of Iraq will be an impetus to buy........... although I'm of the mind that it will cause a market rally on the hope which will most likely be just that.... false hope.

I hope they take Merq down again with the ship. It's one company in it's infancy that actually did make it's own earnings forecast last year and has the biggest chance to do so again while analysts take down estimates with the rest.
