DAK, I'm still very long gold shares although sold calls on 3/4. I have some ASA Feb puts and little CEF short. I have mostly SoAf golds (thanx to Heinz) plus some AEM, GLG, KGC and NEM. I think SoAf are not expensive. Not cheap either. My take is that we are in bull market. First explosive part of it has passed and now shares may go up and down, but the main trend is up. Selling longer term covered calls on big spikes should be a good strategy if my assumption about slow moving bull market is correct.
What do you have?

NOTE: Lately call premiums on SoAf golds have collapsed.
