You said...." heres a website that has various quotes from Gandhi. pick and chose depending on the occasion :-) mahatma.org.in Kumar, I realize that you are not suggesting that Gandhi's methods be used with radical islam so the following are just my opinions. If those that oppose radical islam were to try peaceful resistance against them what would be their fate? muslim terrorists have the kind of mind and beliefs that allows them to shoot an infant in the face at close range, or fly passenger jets full of innocent people into buildings or teach their own children to hate, murder, to kill themselves in the name of their allah. I think that what Gandhi did was the correct thing at that time and at that place but I think it would be a terrible mistake to try that with radical islam. IMO the only thing that one would accomplish by prostrating themselves in front of islam fanatics is that they would avoid the fall to the ground as their heads are removed.
