lurqur. This one will be long and brutal with a possible depression and if not several brutal recessions.

Reason: No jobs.
Many jobsa are headed to india (tech) or China (manufactoring).

What's left?
Nursing an aging population of boomers is what?
Tell me exactly where jobs are coming from and where corporate profits are coming from when states are strapped and balance of trade sucks, and we do not manufactor anything in the US.

Answer those questions and then I might fee a bit more rosy.
We have a ton of debt to wipe out and that is going to take some time.

lurger,
thanks for the response. I appreciate the elaboration on the demographics. will not be needing your sources. was more curious on what basis a statement like that could be made.

Im glad you find my and other posts amusing (ggg). I am very curious on your comment about timescale for trading. with the massive dips and rallies, the profit potential is there to profit along the way in both directions. what is you trade that has a hold time of years not measured in days/weeks like myself?
