aj-I agree..I have been looking for Feb 11-12 (around AMAT on 11th and Dell on 13th/Thursday with bs retail sales on that day as well..they could use Jan figures as a 'recovery' play) as a potential reversal time..I was just responding where you said "A bounce Tuesday with a re-test Wednesday could set us up for an options expiration 2-day bounce.". So I responded saying opex occurs the week after next week.

Aj, the liklihood of a max pain rally starting on Wed the prior week depends upon how far away everything is.

The closer we are, the later it starts.
Right now we are a couple gap ups away on the NQ's.
The spoos seem more problematic, but two 10 point gaps and 10 point runs would do it.
