Darren I re-read your post and have come to the conclusion that you are correct. We need to look at the big picture.

No one has proven Iraq has any weapons but Powell presented a case that he wanted them. I clearly think that is grounds for attack.

Not only that I think we need to take out every country that has a dangerous, deceptive leader. In fact I think it must be done immediately before it is too late. However, in order to prevent retaliation, we must proceed in a logical "big picture" order.

Therfore I propose we attack (in order)
1) North Korea for having and threatening to use nuclear weapons
2) Pakistan (very dangerous they threatened India with nuclear weapons and are also harboring Al Qaeda terrorists)
3) India (very dangerous they threatened Pakistan with nuclear weapons)
4) All of the broken off countries from the USSR known to have nuclear weapons (who knows who they might sell that stuff to)
5) Afganistan for harboring Al Queda terrorists
6) Saudi Arabia for harboring Al Queda and because Saudia Arabian terrorits flew those planes into the WTC
7) Iran for having and using chemical weapons and sponsoring terrorists
8) Columbia for having and supporting dope dealers
9) Libya we never got rid of that evil dictator, who knows what he might do
10) Iraq. Why Iraq? because Hussein is evil and although we have no proof, we suspect he might be hiding something. We do know the he is capable of using nerve gas because he used that on Iran after we gave it to him and backed him in that war. Oh well we have no use for him now, since Iran was eliminated in step #7 above. Besides, he is admittedly evil, and he just may have something although we can't find it.

Since Iraq seems the least threatening of those countries, it seems we can put them off until last. For surprise affect, we better start with the first 4 immediately and at once before anything bad happens. I vote for a huge surprise attack starting tomorrow. After we have ridden the world of those evil countries, we can then easily mop up the other countries more or less in the order where we know for a fact they have something as opposed to us thinking they might have something. Hussein is suposedly running around hiding stuff from inspectors that can not find a damn thing. Stupid incompetent inspectors can not find a smoking gun and neither can Powell. But it's there I just know it. Even if wrong, who cares? It's all in the best interest of "The Big Picture".

So you see darren, I have concluded that you are 100% correct and we need to immediately appoint ourselves the world's policemen, get rid of anyone who is evil and we suspect could potentially be hiding something.

There is only one logical conclusion. We need to start WW III before someone else does! I vote for tomorrow.

hope slight the sarcasm was dectable

Do you not find it odd that the only mention of "oil" is that they use it to buy things they themselves cannot produce.
Come on. would there be this mess if america was not DEPENDANT on their oil?
We condem their culture as being backwards, vanting our technologicle prowess as the sole measure of our validity.
Quite frankly I find many aspects of american culture disgusting , offensive and just plain unhealthy.Lets face it, we produce more waste and use more energy per person than any other nation and our culture(TV) is one of the most violent and obscene. We ourselves cannot produce what we want to have,so not having huge amounts of oil,we print huge amounts of bogus money. So before we condem their culture have a good look at our own.

but I know of no other major religion whose holy teachings include instructions for how to go to war to spread the faith.

could you direct me to a reference page from The Qur'an? TIA.

Arab nationalism and imperialism is also a symptom of it

can you give me some current examples of these?

Baywatch was total dreck, but it was also the most successful syndicated television program around the world in history, racking up truly massive audiences each week.

Yes, a modern day opium, one might say.

The gross inaccuracies and hateful sentiments of your screed are so overwhelming that I can only make one observation: If Americans ever came to believe even half of the ridiculous assertions you make, then it would be OUR culture that is "deeply diseased." /BSG
