I might move to the East Coast so I can come. You sound like a workaholic though, like my sister Maggie. She's also a writer, by the way.

You hosted ten writers?! Yikes. I hope they were well behaved. My place is gonna take a long time to clean up. And I have enough food left over for a week! We had pork tenderloin, chicken breasts, and sirloin all in large bite-sized pieces, along with cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, tofu, etc. We ladled everything out of the wok with slotted spoons into large bowls of bombay rice. Sue made this incredible sauce which we drizzled over everything as we went. Afterward, the chicken broth was a great soup. We had a merlot wine, and I went through several cans of coconut milk and five quarts of pineapple juice, so apparently everyone enjoyed my pina coladas! :-) We considered several places to go ranging from the Carribean to Brazil. We'll see what comes up, but I know it will be an adventure.
