Bill,
You should clean up your own act before attacking other clowns on the internet. You can clear up all your misconceptions about REFR by calling Dr. Lampert and yet you refuse. You said he verified something for you. Here is his quote"

"This represents one of the most innovative developments for the glass industry in the past twenty years," said Dr. Carl Lampert, founder of consulting company Star Science, and former chromogenics group leader at the windows and daylighting group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. "As the technology begins to grow and develop into commercial products, the usage will become more defined. It has such broad applications that there are many more benefits that are not yet apparent."

What was he talking about? SPD windows? or SPD technology? You said he verified something. Tell us what. Call him again and ask him where SPD technology and products are now and how long it takes for these smart technologies to become commercialized? Ask him about how the EC windows are doing. Who is commercializing? What about the EC claims they would be ready before 2000?

Why are you avoiding this one phone call to update your information?

ND
