Turkey accepts the aggressive war of the US and then expects NATO to defend it if attacked. Sounds like Catch 22 to me.

Well, quite obviously, France does not see NATO as particularly important. And, in view of the demise of the Soviets, it is not. France has no serious military threats it has to guard against.

We should recognize the same reality the French recognize and save a few billion by pulling out of NATO and reach individual alliances with countries which do face military threats.
