The truth is that neither of these things are acceptable.

Agreed.

we would not be here with Bush in the WH if Clinton had kept his pecker in his pants.

I wouldn't have voted for Gore for other reasons, but you're right -- had he been able to run on Clinton's record Gore would have won.

The former.......and its disturbing that you can't see that.

The truth is that neither of these things are acceptable. I am reading Shadow (Woodward's book about the legacy of Watergate on the last five presidents) and it is clear that, while Starr went on an overreaching crusade way beyond his mandate just to keep from being discredited, we would not be here with Bush in the WH if Clinton had kept his pecker in his pants.

Al, that's true and for the all the things Clinton has been blamed........the fact that Bush is president is the one thing that makes me dislike the man.

But to say that its better to cheat on a dying wife than to make it with M. Lewinsky is just more than I can handle. Oh.......and its okay because he didn't perjure himself and because he married his mistress in the end. Apparently, if had he shot his wife that too would have been okay so long as he had readily admitted his guilt. I guess when God talks to them, he gives them special compensations. LOL
