Well, France lost a whole generation of young men during the first world war. Without this generation they were easily defeated in the second world war. France I think--and you should agree--knows war much better than do the people of the United States. There are prudent reasons for opposing this war. It's just that if one is so deadset in favor of wanting this war, one tends not to see this reasoning to oppose. This does not mean the reasoning is faulty or should not exist.
